Description

Umzimkulu Day Tripper Pass

With an Umzimkulu Day Tripper Pass – you will have so much to do with your day! Available from 11 am to 4 pm.

Families and friends love this lush piece of jungle and lawn right on the south bank of the Umzimkulu Estuary. You can utilise the facilities – toilets, and kitchen area – and a braai – of course!

The views our from this protected spot across the river are special. And the valley is filled with wildlife still. Otters. Fish eagles. Ducks . Geese. All-sorts.

And of course…fish!

Fish abound in the Umzimkulu Estuary waters. There are the fun fish to catch like grunter and strepies – keeps kids busy all the time. And then for the more serious angler, we have rock salmon, garlic, kingfish and daga salmon (kob) to keep them busy too!

For a surcharge of R150 per person, you can get a boat pass too, which sees you out on the water as and when the river cruiser sails – every hour or half-hour. Arrangements can be made prior, to get all of you on the boat together – otherwise, it is a hop-on, hop-off affair, through the day.

Bring your cooler box with drinks, chairs, blankets and charcoal, and your catering goods (if you want us to cater – for sure – click here for options – we do seafood real good).

Subject to space and availability but pop us a WhatsApp with the green button on the screen somewhere to enquire.
